Inspiration or the Lack Thereof

I love looking at my sparklies. Sometimes I look at my collection of beads and magic happens; I end up creating a beautiful piece of jewelry. Sometimes I have days like today where nothing works. Rather like yesterday. I think I am in a creative slump. This means it is time to step away from the beads and just stop trying to force design. I know I haven't put anything new in my shop for several days and I only have one pair of earrings made that I haven't listed so this means that the shop will stagnate for a bit. But this is better than trying to just make something for the sake of filling up a slot in the shop. It wouldn't be inspired and I would be unhappy with it anyway.

Friday is my volunteer day at the food bank so I wouldn't be working then regardless. Perhaps I will also take Saturday off and sit down Sunday refreshed in the hopes of design inspiration. Saturday I will make soap. Pricilla will be happy.
