One of my favorite times of year is Halloween. Halloween you scream - it's only March! Yes, Halloween. I love it! The ghosts, the jack o lanterns. The candy. I used to love having trick 'r treaters come to my house. Even better I used to love to dress up and go out with my little munchkins - my nieces and nephews. That to me was the best.
Weeks and weeks before Halloween I would bug my munchkins about their Halloween costumes. We would look in stores and online. My nephew in particular. He was always on the lookout for that extra special costume. We would look all over the place for boys Halloween costumes. Finally he would settle on exactly what he wanted to be - usually something gruesome. But he knew he was cool! Now me - I had to be a princess; isn't that every girl's dream? If I could talk the hubby into participating I would let him browse through the adult Disney costumes and let him make his choice. I won't even begin to speculate....
The best Halloween would be the night when I could go out with ALL of my nieces and nephews but that rarely happened as they are so disparate in age so they went at different times. I tried to be there as much as I could and I do miss them now but I get sent photos of the big night. Maybe that is better because then I don't have all that candy lying around for me to eat.....
