I love Las Vegas. For short stays. I don't think I could live there but I really do love going there. I have been twice; both times while traveling in the fifth wheel. The first time we stayed for 4 days the second for about a week. My brothers were in town for a convention on the second trip so we altered our plans to go meet them. I was glad to see my brothers and you cannot beat the people watching there.
But I also love the fantasy. The lights. The fun. The shopping. The restaurants and of course the Las Vegas Shows. You can see just about anything you might want; a Broadway musical, burlesque, a rock band, magicians,comics, singers,dancers. The list goes on and on. Just like Las Vegas itself the choice of shows is bright, bold and eclectic.
I would love to go back someday and we don't live all that far away now. Flights can be very inexpensive. It would make a lovely long weekend. The weather can't be beat especially as I watch the snow fall here in April. Some great meals, a good show and lots of fantastic people watching. Sounds good to me!

Who baby sits when you are gone. You have a menagerie of animals with which I am familiar! And I know how hard pet sitters are.

Julia...this was before my life on the farm. When I was footloose and fancy free. *sigh* Now I don't get to go away much.
