Random Tuesday Thoughts

I thought I would try and be random. On Tuesday. I am random most of the time so trying to corral my randomness to one specific day is going to be fun. This is of course, The Un-Mom's plan. Get everyone being random and then she can get all organized and take over the world.

My goats are going to kill me. Well maybe just Mallory. She either butts a goat into me and tries to break my knee or there was today's trick - she butt Pricilla into the fence gate and the fence gate flew into my shoulder. Who needs feeling in their left arm? Certainly not me.

The zucchini have started. So that means the zucchini won't stop until the killing frost which will be sometime in November. He planted THREE zucchini plants again. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY FREAKIN' ZUCCHINI THAT MEANS I WILL HAVE?! *sigh*

There is soap curing on every level surface in my trailer. I wouldn't be surprised if I had soap curing on a cat. The Farmer's Market has been very successful which is nice but I have been making soap three or four nights a week to keep up and to make sure I have enough come the winter/holiday season.

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL I GET INTO THE DAMN HOUSE. I cannot express that enough. I am tired of living in 400 square feet yet having a life that needs more space. I process enough vegetables and fruit that the only produce I have bought in the last year has been some onions and celery to make stock and some bananas and strawberries 'cause I wanted them. This is hard in a kitchen small enough to fit in most people's bathrooms and a 15" three burner stove.

Boy that felt good.

Happy belated birthday. 50 is YOUNG and you have PLENTY of time to learn (and relearn) anything. I enjoyed your random thoughts (and other posts too) and can certainly relate to being tired of living in 400 square feet ;--)
It's nice to meet you.
Hugs and blessings,

Wow that really is hard. I can't imagine living in a space that small. I have trouble in my 1600sqft house.

I don't like zucchini. Blech.

Storyteller - thank you for your birthday wishes. And for your visit to my blog.

georgie - thanks. I think I could get into being random

Jennifer - the house is just over 1,000sq ft but I think it is going to seem like a mansion after this trailer!

Zucchini is only useful in chocolate cake. So if you need any help eating all that cake, let me know.

Well I must say you'd better start screaming at the male person to get things finished!!! Or maybe take a broom to him.

Now about those soaps. I have my xmas all planned out so does that mean I should order what I want to send as gifts now and can you hold them until the holidays?? You've got me all worried now.

Hugs Patty! I know what it's like to live in a tiny space (think sailboat for 7 years!). Your new house will feel enormous ... for a while. And once you get in there, the tiny space will be a distant memory very quickly.

Keely - thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your blog and this idea.

Julia - no worries. I am making soap like a madwoman. It just needs a month to cure which is why I am making it now. I will have plenty for the holidays...I was just ranting.

Vicki - thanks. I spent a fair bit of time on extended trips on our sailboat - a 20ft ocean going cruiser. A Pacific Seacraft Flicka if you have ever heard of such. I was always seasick so I was always full of joy.
