Review and Giveaway - Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil

I opened the jar and the first thought that came into my mind was Mounds Bar.

Mmmmmm, I love Mounds Bars.

I thought, I could have fun with this stuff. And I did.

Tropical Traditions sent me a 32oz jar of virgin coconut oil for review AND I have one to giveaway to one of my readers.

Woo hoo! So I opened my jar and my little cook's brain immediately thought meringues. Meringues with a chocolate/coconut oil base. Mmmm, wouldn't that taste yummy? I just love playing in the kitchen.

So I baked the meringues ( one way to use some of those eggs that are taking over my refrigerator)

Then I melted two squares of semisweet chocolate and added roughly 4 TBSP. of the coconut oil. I let it cool and then I dipped the meringues in and they looked like this

I have to admit they were mighty tasty. I have to admit there aren't many left.
Burp.
I can't wait to experiment some more.

So how would you like a jar of coconut oil for your own experiments in the kitchen? Tropical Traditions even has a link that gives you some great recipes!
Well, here's how you can enter to win...

I have been using Tropical Traditions coconut oil for years! I love it!I not only cook and bake with it,I use it in my soap and I rub it on my skin instead of chemical filled lotion.I have also noticed if I am feeling chilled,I can take a spoonful and will soon be feeling warm again. It has this affect on my friend also. Not a great thing in the summer but wonderful in winter!Oh yeah,I follow you!
