Review and Giveaway: Tropical Traditions Antioxidant Omega 3 Greens

We read in the paper and magazines almost every day about the importance of getting Omega 3 oils in our diet. One of the best sources of those oils is eating fish. But of course you can't eat fish every night. Well, maybe you can but in this household it is just not possible. We live in BEEF country. Buying fish is challenging and expensive. So where can we find those Omega 3 oils.

One place is from Tropical Traditions Omega 3 Greens.  The greens come in two spiffy flavors, mint or berry. I chose berry. When the tub came I read the ingredients and discovered that there was flax. Flax is a fantastic source of Omega 3 oils but flax turns me into a giant red, swollen berry like object. Therefore my hubby did the taste testing so I wouldn't have to go the hospital for this review.  I am sure you can understand....

He has been enjoying his greens! He comes home every night and puts the scoop full from the tub into a glass of ice water. He says they don't need anything else to taste good to him. He just drinks them down. He says they have a light berry taste but mostly, in his words, they taste green. I tried people but this was the best I could get from him. I do know that he enjoys them.
