Review: eShakti.com

I have been seeing reviews for eShakti.com on blogs for a while now and I was very impressed with what I had been reading. I took myself to the site and looked around and found so many beautiful pieces of clothing.  I was beyond thrilled when given the opportunity to choose an item to review.


That's when I hit my problem - WHAT WAS I GOING TO PICK?! It was all so beautiful. How could I choose just ONE thing? Oh, how I struggled. I really, really, really, really, really, really, really wanted this:

but where exactly was I going to wear it? To the goat barn? As gorgeous as it is, it just doesn't suit my current lifestyle. But you can rest assured that if I ever need a party dress this is the one I will buy.


So next I started looking at women's blouses. I wear a lot of tops. When I go to the food bank on Fridays to volunteer I like to look nice. I was torn - did I want this one

or this one?

I chose the second one. Then came the beauty of eShakti. Each item can be modified to suit your purposes. For a small fee you can change a short sleeved blouse to a long sleeved blouse. Which is what I did because I am always cold and this made the shirt into a three season piece for me. HOW COOL IS THAT?! You simply fill out the form with your request and boom! you get the piece altered to your needs. It's like having it handmade just for you.


(The blouse came and I am thrilled with it. Hubby took photos of me in it but alas, none of them came out. I am going to have him take more when the weather settles down - it has been raining for the last three days and I'm not going to go out and stand in the rain. I've also been feeling lousy which doesn't help.)


The blouse is made beautifully. It is darted in all the right places and the new long sleeves fall to a perfect length. I adore the color; it's a gorgeous, bright pink which is just perfect for me. I love the blouse and I love this company. They were wonderful to work with and the product is delightful.
