As I have mentioned, I have been working with some cherries.
Lots and lots of cherries.
56lbs of them to be exact.
Most went into the freezer.
Some went into a pie.
I made some jelly and I made some jam.
But now that summer has descended here in Western Montana there is not much better than homemade sorbet.
Fresh cherry sorbet!
Nothing more than a light simple syrup and cherry juice.
It was delicious.
Sadly, it's gone.
I guess I might have to get more cherries!

I love to make sorbets with all my fresh fruits. Have you ever thought of filling the small 3oz. paper cups with it and putting them in the freezer for some great fruity pops? Fantastic summer desserts! I'm into blueberries, now.
It is so incredibly hot where I am today. That looks so delicious and refreshing!
