#Rafflecopter #Giveaway: $50 GC to Ezistock - Artisan Made Handcrafts from Thailand

The internet has been a boon to hard working artisans everywhere but no more so than those who have so long worked in obscurity while creating pieces of beautiful craftsmanship.  I have long worked with the lovely pieces created by the masters of silver - the Hill Tribe and now thanks to Ezistock you can find many lovely representations of the other crafts of the country.

Like that lovely cotton handbag pictured above. Are the colors not stunning?! As you all know by now I do loves me some color. I have ordered something for review from Ezistock and my post will appear at a later date. I wanted to get the giveaway posted so you could learn about the company. So here is your lesson:

EZISTOCK utilizes the Internet to bring artisans from Thailand together with the consumers.  Many of these talented artisans are barely eking out a living due to limited exposure to their work. We give them a platform to express their talents and showcase their works to the world market. As a result the artisans are able to make a better living, and global consumers benefit by having convenient access to limited edition collectibles while advancing fair labor, sustainability and environmentally responsible principles. We currently showcase fair trade jewelry, accessories, gifts and home decor items on our website.

I must admit to having fun surfing around the site looking at the lovely crafts for sale. You can find jewelry, ceramics, artwork, paper crafts and so much more. My only issue was with the shipping costs - they are a bit steep, but we all know that the price of fuel is not going down and these costs are a factor of volume.

I was torn between several different items but I ultimately chose the Celadon ceramic box you see above. I can't wait to get it and tell you all about it. I love the lotus leaf pattern.
