I am most certainly a child of the television generation. But I am not a person who watches that many TV shows religiously. I have some real favorites and I must admit that I really, really, REALLY miss Top Chef.
Excuse me while I go off in a corner and cry for a bit.
I'm back now.
I had to give up Top Chef when we downsized our direct tv package. It was a sad day in the Broken Teepee household but concessions had to be made to retirement budgets and paying all that money for the next level up for ONE show was truly ridiculous. I sucked it up. I just wish you could buy one's satellite coverage a la carte - would that not be too cool for words?
But alas, it is not to be.
There are many providers of satellite service dx3 direct tv being one of them. Now I have never used their services so I cannot tell you if they are good, bad or indifferent but I wonder if all of the subscribers banded together and then signed a petition to ask that shows be offered one at a time for a price....naaaah. Never happen. But it is fun to dream, right?
Dreaming is ALWAYS good - as long as you ultimately return to reality. heh.
If you are looking for a direct tv provider www.dx3.com is a place to start. You will find packages and prices to use to compare to other providers and then you can make your choice.
But still no Top Chef for me.
*sigh*
