From the Garden 2012 - Broccoli!

Look what I got the other night:

Uh-huh!
That is one huge pile of broccoli!
This is the earliest it has ever come in. And it is the largest harvest we have ever had.
Which is great because I do not care for carrots, snow peas or beets so while I have put up all the veggies that the hubby loves there hasn't been much so far for me to eat this winter.
But now there is one heck of a lot of broccoli and I am happy.

I also got the first cucumber of the season.
I made it into cheaters sunomono.
It was so very refreshing!

I now have about a dozen more and am awaiting just a few more so I can make a batch of pickles. Nothing like a sharp garlic dill pickle in the winter with a burger.

Mmmmmm.

I can't believe you don't like carrots, snow peas and beets. Who are you??
