About the Book:
America stands at a crossroads: culturally, economically, and politically. Enter The Tea Party Movement, whose focus is primarily fiscal conservatism, government accountability, and reduced taxation.
Currently, America suffers from a clash of worldviews, but the issue is much deeper than politics; it is ultimately a spiritual battle between good and evil. For the sake of generations to come, we need to win this war. We need to take action to defend our beliefs. We need to take the right road.

My Opinion:
The book begins with a tale of two worldviews - that of what Mr. Johnston believes is the correct one, the one of the Tea Party so recently founded and purported to be the same as the Founders of our country. And the second which is more secular and global. He gives less time to the secular because he is here to preach a limited view of politics and the Tea Party itself. He limits it to Evangelical Christians and no others. The book then devolves into preparing for the end times.
Mr. Johnston gives a history lesson on several of the Founders and their thoughts on religion to show the reader why we need to return the mindset of these revolutionary men. They did create a country that was/is like no other but we must remember they did it in a time that was very different from the time in which we live now. Of course they all believed in God - they could be put to death for not doing so. In fact, the reason the first ships came and colonized was because of just such reasons. It is why the freedom of religion clause exists.
They were intelligent men. I sincerely doubt they would have wanted society to stagnate and remain in the past. But back to the book.....
If it had stayed on topic it might have been and interesting study into the opposing world views and of the modern day Tea Party but it didn't. It became an Evangelical study in preparing for the end of times. This was a disappointment as it was very removed from the expected premise of the book.
