The holidays are coming!
That means it's time to think about shopping for holiday gifts. I KNOW! It seems like it was just here and now it's showing up again! There is one way to make all of that shopping easy, though and that is to take advantage of free layaway. You read that correctly - FREE layaway. I remember in the olden days before I was married layaway was the big thing. My mother would start her shopping early and she would put toys and clothes for my brothers on layaway and pay them off week by week so that by Christmas there was a big pile under the tree. This was before it became all the rage to give expensive electronics for gifts. I suspect it made big piles under the tree easier . . .
If I had a houseful of kids to buy for I would be putting things like e-readers, computers and other educational presents on layaway 'cause that's the way I roll. Of course there would be room for fun - but who says educational can't be fun? To me there is nothing better than a good book! All the fun in the world between two covers.
