Showcase Your Child's School Memories with a Photobook from Shutterfly - Giveaway

The children are all back in school and hopefully they are enjoying themselves. All of those school activities to keep them active and thinking. I was on the drill team and in the French club myself so I covered the moving and learning groups. I was brave enough to share my graduation photo in a previous post; back in the olden days it was a meat market for those pictures. (You can see it HERE, but I'm telling you - eat something first. It's not good to see something like that on an empty stomach.)

All of those memories can be beautifully curated in yearbooks designed at Shutterfly. The site is so easy to use and the kids can add their own touches to what is a very special memory of their school years. Personal photos instead of the boring ones usually found in yearbooks would make looking back so much more exciting. Back in my day this would not have been possible - but now it is!

I have had so much fun making photobooks - I know that the tech savvy wizards that are today's children would run rings around what I have done. That is why having them design their own personal yearbook is such a delightful idea . . . In fact I know one senior who might just get a Shutterfly Photobook as a gift this year.

  1. I remember when I was in fifth grade and my sister started Kindergarten. I was so proud to get to take her to her first day of school and so happy she was finally at school with me.

  3. My favorite memories are the amusing ones..being called George for a semester (my brother's name, who had the teacher before me), winning a Betty Crocker award, being called Betty for the rest of the year, and my Home Ec teacher's subsequent lament..."Betty Crocker can't flunk Home Economics! Sew SOMETHING!"

  4. I remember loving to feel like a "big girl" when I was in fifth grade and my brother was in kindergarten. Since I was older I had to walk him to class each morning and then make sure he either got on the bus and walked home with me or got to the after-school program until our mom picked us up. I remember being a little bossy as I thought I was so important being given this big responsibility :).

Thanks for the giveaway. Since our kids are now grown, we'd probably use this photobook for some vacation photos.

  7. There was a group of us (in High school) that dressed up for Halloween & went Trick or Treating. But we went to teachers houses & gave them treats!
