It's that time of year again - when colds and the flu are hear to make us all feel just miserable.
I don't know about you but I am never far from a box of tissues - my nose seems to run all year round. TMI? Oh, well!
I buy facial tissues by the case so I am always sure of having them in the house. Seventh Generation makes theirs from 100% recycled paper! Now that is VERY cool. They are not as softy-feely as other brands but they are as strong. That is not to say they are like sandpaper because they are not. They are just not coated with aloe or other stuff which drives me crazy on a tissue anyway. I love, love, love that they are made from recycled paper. I've been using them for a couple of weeks and my nose is happy!
Just check out the video with a great craft you can share with your kids using the empty tissue box.
Is that not the cutest project?!
I think it is adorable.
Keeping your hands clean is important when it comes to stopping the spread of all kinds of nasty things. I wash my hands constantly! Seventh Generation sent me their Fresh Citrus Hand Wash. I put it by my kitchen sink and it has really come in well, handy. This hand wash is easy to use with its pump and the citrus scent (from essential oils and botanical extracts) is bright and fresh. It does not leave my hands feeling dry even after multiple uses. It also comes in Lavender and Free and Clear - for people who prefer no scent.
Seventh Generation also has a line of products to help keep the surfaces clean in your house. I'll go over them tomorrow so the post doesn't get too long.
