Keen-Wah Decadence Snack Bars from YogaEarth - Review and Giveaway

I was sent a package from YogaEarth.
It contained their Keen-Wah Decadence Snack Bars.
When presented with the opportunity to try these bars I wasn't really thinking of myself, I was thinking of the hubby. 
I'll tell you why - he is always on the go.
Unlike me. I'm always on the couch.

He runs, he rides his bike, he heads out to the firehouse, he heads out to fires.
I thought the bars would be great to have around for all of his heading out.
And I was right.

Particularly this month 'cause he headed out to a lot of fires this month and fires never come at convenient times. They come when they come and they often come right before breakfast or at 3 in the morning. So I can tell you that the hubby taste tested the Keen-Wah Decadence Bars under extreme conditions.

Me? I ate one on the couch.




I received three different flavors; the Chocolate Chia, the Organic Coconut Almond and the Cayenne Cinnamon. All bars are organic, vegan and gluten free. They are made with quinoa, a gluten free seed that provides protein that has been around since the times of the Inca. 



I sampled the Organic Coconut Almond Decadence Bar while reading on the sofa. It had a definite flavor of coconut and almond. The texture was good and the chocolate rich. Hubby took the Chocolate Chia and Cayenne Cinnamon while running out the door to separate fires so he'd have something to eat. He said he enjoyed both of them. They gave him a boost of energy to get through long fire scenes.


I had lots of energy on the couch.
