Packaways Reusable Storage Boxes - Review

I am so very happy to have a basement. 
When we were living in the trailer I had very limited places to store anything.
That was fine while we were traveling but once we settled down and started living a real life again it became very challenging to try to live in 400 square feet and put up a whole garden's worth of vegetables and manage Pricilla's soap.

But with storing comes storage.
What should I use to hold all of the items I now want to put in the basement?
I had been using cardboard boxes but they kept breaking down and it just was not working.
I recently bought some new containers for Pricilla's soap but I had plenty of other items that still needed a better solution.

I was sent two Packaways Classic Boxes to try out - a neon blue 12 gallon and a hot pink 16 gallon. I knew immediately what I was going to do with the pink box but first let me tell you about the containers themselves; they are made of a lightweight but strong corrugated plastic. They are made right here in the USA! Packaways come in three styles; Classic, Tote and Underbed to fit all of your needs and are available in the bold and bright colors or neutral white. I hied myself down to the basement with my bright pink box and was able to consolidate all of my gift boxes for my jewelry into the one Packaway Classic! It was wonderful! Now instead of having the boxes in 4 (count 'em!) separate boxes they are all neatly together in the one easy to find box. It has saved me a LOT of space on my shelves and now when I sell a piece of jewelry I won't have to go looking through a myriad of packaging to find the perfect gift box to send to my  customer. 

The lid closes easily by inserting the tabs into the slots and folding down. I am seriously challenged with things like this - just ask the hubby - but I figured it right out!

There are areas to mark the contents on the ends and sides and get this - you can use a dry erase pen! That way you can use them over and over again - how cool is that?! I didn't have mine with me when I went to pack up the box so mine is blank for now but it will be completed soon. I love convenient details like this. Someone at Packaways was THINKING!

I haven't filled the blue one yet. I'm saving it for when we get the craft room finished. It is going to hold all of my packaging needs for Pricilla's soap. I'll have them at hand for when I want to send out an order. Packaways is going to have me O.R.G.A.N.I.Z.E.D!
