My Opinion:
What a sweet book. It's comprised of 4 novellas each bringing together a mismatched couple - I don't think I'm giving anything away with that statement - from the same family. Running through the four stories is a running plot that pulls them together.
Each novella is written by a different author yet they stories flow together as if it were a book. Each takes on a season in the fictional Smitten, VT, and a romance blooms for Anna and her three daughters, Zoe, Tess and Clare while they search for clues about Anna's mother's lost love.
The stories were light and airy much like a cream puff and I found them quite charming. Smitten sounds like a delightful little town that I think all of us would like to visit but too much sugar is bad for us if you know what I mean. I found myself smiling through the romances and curious 'til the end as to the whys and what/fors of the big mystery. The book is a fun, easy read and I was glad to have been Smitten.
