I had the other mixer bowl in the refrigerator full of whipped cream so it was a slow turnover to get the mousse base whipped. Fortunately the baking gods were with me because it all did manage to come together into a lovely mousse. I have now ordered a new whisk for my 32 year old KitchenAid. I suppose at that age it's about time something broke down....
