I received samples of Glee Gum for my honest review.
I love gum.
It's another of those holdouts from childhood.
One of those treats you were given that left you with good memories. Well, I never stopped loving to chew gum. But I must admit to a very bad habit - when given gum I crack it. Which tends to annoy the people around me. What can I say - I'm annoying? I am sure there are many folks that will agree whole-heartedly with that statement! When the very nice people from Glee Gum offered me the opportunity to give a Make Your Own Gum Kit away just before the holidays they also sent me a delightful selection of their all natural chewing gum to try. So try it I did.
Glee Gum offers their gum in regular and sugar free. I do not eat anything with chemical artificial sweeteners as they make me dizzy (dizzier?). Fortunately Glee uses xylitol which is a natural product found in the fiber of fruits and vegetables. I was sent their brand new sized packaging - the Glee Gum Pouch which contains 75 pieces of gum. It sells for $4.95 and is available in four flavors: Bubblegum and Peppermint with sugar and Wild Watermelon and RefreshMint in the sugar free version. As you can see I was sent the watermelon. Watermelon is not a preferred flavor for me in candies and I must admit that this was not my favorite Glee Gum that I tasted. I do like the size of the packaging and the resealable aspects of the pouch.
I was sent many, many mini boxes of Glee Gum in a wide variety of flavors. These are available in the online store as the Mini Glee Variety Pack and would make excellent additions to lunchboxes or to just toss in your purse to have as a quick treat. Each small box has 4 pieces of gum and the variety pack contains 21 boxes. It sells for $6.95. You can also purchase Mini Glee Gum in an 80 box bag (these boxes contain two pieces of gum) for $17.95 and as the site indicates these make excellent party or Halloween favors.
Glee Gum is also sold in 16 piece boxes. I was sent several flavors but I was torn between Bubblegum and Tangerine as my favorite. The child in me loved the sweet reminders of days gone by that the pink bubblegum brought to me. The tangerine was slightly sweet with a hint of tart. These are sold in 12 packs for $11.95.
Glee Gum is made with all natural ingredients and uses no artificial flavors or colors. I like that. The gum tasted good. That flavor doesn't last forever but it lasts long enough. The gum has a nice chew and it snaps really well! The hubby was not appreciative of that.
Glee also sells Make Your Own Chocolate and Make Your Own Gummy Kits. You can visit the Learn More page to find out all you need to know about the company.
You can find Glee Gum (and the Glee Guy - he's really kind of cute) on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
